The mood was somber in the high school auditorium in Orlando where the large group of involved officers gathered for critical incident stress debriefing orientation. The commander in charge of the debriefing introduced the session by describing the horrific terrorist attack on The Pulse nightclub as “the mother of critical incidents.”
Quick Response Team visited the Chicago PD and handed out three Peace Officer Ministries bibles.

I recently responded to deadly Houston flooding, and was joined by new QRT Partner Vicar Curtiss Lanham of Crosspoint Lutheran Church in Houston. Together we assisted the low-income neighborhood residents of Houston’s Greenspoint area with transportation and relief supplies (in cooperation with Houston’s The Word Church) as they recover from this deadly flood.
I met with Captain Louis of the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office after ministering with families affected by the tornado in that area of Louisiana. We gave the captain a Peace Officer Ministries edition Bible.
On February 29, 2016, Pastor Lee met with Samuel Owens, Director of Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and his top two assistants due to a recent Narcotics agent killed and 3 other agents injured in the line of duty. He provided them with POM Bibles to give to the families affected.
