Peace Officer Ministries provides police and chaplaincy training to people who wish to minister to peace officers. Concordia Seminary partners with the ministry to offer this training annually with expert presenters who equip and train participants in the theological and practical applications of law enforcement chaplaincy.

Additionally, the ministry is available to provide custom biblically based, legally informed, historically guided, practically applied Police and Chaplain Training (PACT) Seminars and Seminary training.

"Christian Law Enforcement Chaplaincy: Theology and Practice" Training Seminar takes place yearly (based upon registration) at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in May. Registration opens in February.  Photos from the most recent training.

Partnership Needs
At this time, our ability to offer presenter honorarium is limited. Often presenters do not receive any honorarium for their participation and often attend at their own expense. Church and agency budget reductions have made it difficult for some presenting pastors and officers to attend. Underwriting for honorarium would allow the participation of a larger variety of presenters.

Additionally, we would like to offer scholarships to potential attendees, in keeping with the scholarships offered for this training to our denomination’s pastors, we would like to provide at least ten $100 scholarships per year for others in need for a total of $1,000.
